Founded in 2007, AIPSA, the Italian Association of Producers of Growing Media and Soil Conditioners, now brings together 22 companies that account for more than 70% of the industry's turnover. AIPSA is part of Growing Media Europe (GME), the European Association of Producers of Growing Media, is affiliated with UNICHIM (Association for Standardization in the Chemical Industry), a UNI federated body, and participates in the Fertilizers and Compost Expert Group and the TC/CEN 223 Soil Improvers and Growing Media – Harmonized Analysis Methods.
