AITA is a non-profit, non-political scientific and technical association founded in 1979 in Milan. AITA is a member of the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) and the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EEFOST). AITA organizes training activities (online and in person) for all professionals in the food and beverage industry, including courses, conferences, seminars, and workshops. The Association's official publication is the magazine "Industrie Alimentari," which publishes 11 issues a year and is sent free to members.
