The Bologna-Ozzano “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Technopole is home to the laboratories of IRET Foundation, its managing body, and hosts the social enterprise TransMed Research s.r.l., a Test Facility certified by the Italian Ministry of Health for Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and an AIFA laboratory for clinical studies. It is part of the Emilia-Romagna Region's High Technology Network.
It hosts research, innovation, and development activities in the field of Life Sciences and Health, in collaboration with regional, national, and international universities and research institutions.
