Founded in 2017, for the love of tradition and challenges, the Pomodoro Riccio di Parma Farmers' Association has the main objective of recovering, enhancing and defending an ancient tomato variety typical of their territory at risk of extinction. Red, ribbed, flavorful and thicker than most tomatoes on the market, the Riccio di Parma is very sweet, with a slightly acidic hint that gives it the real tomato flavor. The skin is thin and must be harvested manually.
