Luthi was founded in 1946 in Gardena, California, originally specializing in filling machines for chunk-style tuna. Over the years, Luthi has diversified its offerings to include filling machines for Solid Pack Tuna, along with cutting machines designed for poultry, meat, tuna, and pet food. In 1991, Luthi became a part of the Gulftech family.
