Created in 1979 and a pioneer in the windsurf industry, BIC Sport progressively diversified its activities into surf, kayak, kids dinghy sailing and most recently Stand Up Paddle. From its Headquarters in Vannes/France, BIC Sport distributes its products to over 90 countries worldwide, with subsidiaries. In 2017, BIC Sport acquired two SUP board brands SIC Maui and Oxbow that manufactures and sells under license. Since January 2019 BIC Sport has been acquired by the Tahe Outdoors Group, aiming to strengthen the world leadership in the watersport sector.
