Biscottificio Grondona was founded in 1820 when Giuseppe Grondona acquired an old mill and began producing bread. In 1872, under Orlando Grondona, the company expanded into biscuits and pastries. For over two centuries, the company has upheld a “Quality Without Compromises” philosophy, blending family tradition with modern technology.

A key element of Grondona’s identity is its commitment to natural ingredients, especially its unique white mother sourdough. This sourdough, made from ancient yeasts and lactic ferments, has been carefully maintained and refreshed every 6–8 hours for generations
