We are breeders of Nero D'Abruzzo pigs, we breed semi-wild in hilly terrain near the Peligna Valley and we are trying to rediscover together with other breeders an ancient breed of pig. Our choice is to keep a maximum of 20 animals per hectare of land, thus ensuring the regeneration of the land and giving us the possibility of not administering any type of antibiotic to a very rustic animal that also accepts difficult climates. In fact, he constantly lives outdoors with some rescue shelters in which he takes shelter when he feels the need.
