The Consortium AGIRE - AGroIndustria Ricerca Ecosostenibilità- manages the Agro-food Innovation Pole for the Abruzzo Region. Founded in September 2010, it represents the needs of agro-food and agro-industrial companies in Abruzzo. It is made up of service companies, employers' associations, research centres and universities that provide added value to create synergies, competitive advantages and innovations. The aim is to improve the attractiveness of the territory and a harmonious development in economic, social and environmental fields.
