The “Iaquilat” dairy was founded in 2000 in the province of Benevento, in the municipality of San Salvatore Telesino, a small village located in the green and lush heart of the Telesina Valley on the slopes of the Matese massif. The largest share of the production concerns stretched curds from which it obtains cheeses such as “Grottone” (a cheese with eyes); “Caciocavallo al tartufo” and “Don Peppino” (produced with milk from only the Italian Red Pezzata breed). Other noteworthy cheeses are those with pressed curds, namely: “Caciotta di solo latte di razza Pezzata Rossa Italiana” and “1935”.
