CASEIFICIO SOCIALE MANCIANO – This Cooperative was founded in 1961 by 21 local farmers whose aim was valorizing the production of sheep milk in Tuscany Maremma hinterland, in Grosseto province. Nowadays the Caseificio has doubtless reached its first aim, affiliating about 300 producers of sheep milk and cow milk. Caseificio respects age-old traditions while using modern equipments, producing sheep milk and mixed-milk cheese. Thanks to the fresh taste of the softest cheeses and the strong taste of the mature cheeses, along with the unmistakable ricotta cheese, Caseificio delights dinner tables.
