Confederazione Italiana Campeggiatori is a legally recognised non-profit organisation, founded on 2 July 1950, dedicated to promoting camping in all its forms and for all ages, within a framework of responsible use of the land and protection of the environment. Its focus is open-air tourism in tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Federcampeggio brings together more than 150 Clubs and 15 regional Federations, with thousands of member families, to whom it issues its own membership card as well as the "Camping Card International", valid worldwide.
