The history of "Casa Olearia Chiarandà" began way back in 1892, when oil was still transported in bottles and sold door-to-door. However, growing market demand and the experience gained allowed Salvatore Chiarandà to establish the current company located in Comiso in 1950. Today, Giuseppe Chiarandà, Salvatore's son, holds the reins and bottles an oil that immediately stood out at the most important olive oil events, winning numerous awards and accolades. Even today, three generations later, the company boasts an extra virgin olive oil with an intoxicating aroma of grass, tomato, and artichoke.
