The Consorzio di Tutela della Nocciola di Giffoni IGP was established on 13/09/2010, its task is to enhance, protect and safeguard the authenticity of the product. The latter can only mark hazelnuts that have passed all the checks envisaged by the Production Disciplinary. This is intended to avoid acts of unfair competition, counterfeiting, improper use of the name that could mislead the consumer, ensuring the quality of certified hazelnuts and the use of the mark only for valuable products.
