The company has developed a consistent and measured path of development over time, establishing itself as a craft industry. La Sassellese was founded in 1961, initially specializing in the production of soft amaretti.
Over the years, the range has expanded with the introduction of Baci di Dama, Canestrelli, and Canestrellini, the latter conceived by the founder as a smaller reinterpretation of the traditional Ligurian canestrello biscuit.
