The Consortium for the Protection of Coppa di Parma PGI was set up in 2012 to protect and enhance Coppa di Parma PGI and to guarantee a safe and quality product for the consumers. The European Union awards the PGI mark to agri-food products whose quality and reputation depend on the area of origin.
