CONSORZIO TUTELA FORMAGGIO MONTE VERONESE D.O.P.

Monte Veronese is an italian protected designation of origin cheese, typical of the Veneto region. The milk is obtained, transformed and processed in the northern part of the province of Verona. This is an area of mainly high hills, rich in fertile pastures. Cheese was produced here back before the year 1000. Two different types are now made: “full cream” Monte Veronese and “mature” Monte Veronese. These two types are made exclusively from cows’ milk, and not only differ in taste but also in their methods of production.
