The Vacche Rosse Parmigiano Reggiano story began eight centuries ago with the Benedictine monks in the abbeys.
The link between the Vacche Rosse Parmesan cheese and the monks is due to them having had unique access to sufficient quantities of milk to produce such a large form. The monks also held the keys to the knowledge of long maturation periods, a very important innovation. Rich in calcium and minerals, amino acids and omega 3, Vacche Rosse cheese is an energetic and digestible product that is totally natural and free from any additive.
