It was officially recognized through a specific regional law as “the most suitable mean of promoting regional wines in Italy and abroad”. The association counts today more than 200 members: wine, vinegar and spirits producers, as well as public bodies, protection and promotion consortia, and regional sommelier associations. To promote Emilia-Romagna’s oenological products, Enoteca Regionale organizes different promotional and sales initiatives and works to educate the public about responsible wine consumption. Its presence is significant in both Italian and foreign markets.
