Federalimentare is the Italian Food & Drink Industry Federation established in 1983. It currently represents nearly 7,000 companies belonging to all sectors of the Food Industry, with a total turnover of over € 137 billion, corresponding to 11% of GDP. Federalimentare strives to make the industry more competitive on the world stage by touting the quality and safety of its products, the reliability of the supply chain, the transparency in the production process, the technological advancements and the respect for tradition.
