Vine cultivation is one of the most ancient traditions of our lands: it was in the 19th century that the Scandiano Oenological Society was founded. It was the forerunner of the Company of Spergola, it was in charge of promoting the typical wine "which float like a wave of sea and then tunes its bouncing rhythms with the cheerfulness of those who make it" (Carducci). Today the Company of Spergola unites wine makers and Municipal Administrations to carry out just a single mission: to protect Spergola vines, in line with the principles of environmental protection and enhancement of the territory.
