BOADAS, the oldest cured-meat company in Spain, was founded in 1880 in Girona from the shared dream of Pedro Boadas and María Vilaplana. From a small family workshop, their dedication to charcuterie led to the production of the brand’s first hams and cured meats. The prestige they achieved allowed the company to grow and become a pioneer in the sector, already equipped with cutting-edge facilities by 1918. Today, five generations later, the Boadas family continues to preserve tradition, respecting raw materials and natural processes while adapting them to modern consumption.
