At South Aegean Region (numbering more than 50 islands) we have a big number of Certificated Products of Protected Designation of Origin-PDO and Protected Geographical Indications-PGI. Some of these products are certificated as PDO and some of them as PGI. Among our certificated products are wines, olive oil, cheeses and other rural products of our Region.
The excellent products of our Region, present not only specifically gastronomic interest, but also excellent chemical and organoleptic characteristics, as well as beneficial properties if we enter them in our daily eating habits.
