In 1918 Angelo Cestaro founded the company producing the now famous “MANDORLATO CESTARO” in Lonigo (VI).
The recipe for this sweet specialty dates back to an ancient Venetian tradition from 1200, which, later elaborated
by skilled pastry chefs, was able to create an increasingly precious and refined product.
Since then, the Mandorlato di Lonigo has been appreciated as an authentic specialty for its recipe, the care in its
processing and the delicacy of its flavor, which soon became the object of success, guaranteed by prizes and awards
even internationally.
