Il Cioccolato dei Trappisti was first produced in 1884, near the San Callisto Catacombs in Rome, by some dutch Trappist Monks.
Since then, it comes from a typical hand-crafted production, using vintage machinery made of metal and stone, and carefully selected ingredients, according to the original method and recipe of the Trappist Monks, and a peaceful working environment.
That's why il Cioccolato dei Trappisti, besides being always fresh, has a unique taste, since one hundred years and more.
