The A.O.C.- Soc. Coop. Agr. was founded in 1984 and is an interprovincial structure that operates in all the provinces of the Calabria Region. Its membership base is made up of approximately 2,000 members. In 2011 it built its own factory in Roccabernarda (KR), which features a latest generation oil mill, a room dedicated to bottling and storage with a capacity of approximately 1,500 quintals. The AOC carries out technical assistance activities for its members, both for companies that use conventional production methods and for companies with organic certification.
