OP Calabria Olivicola soc. coop. agricola is a Calabrian cooperative of olive producers in the province of Cosenza and part of the Lamezia Terme-Catanzaro area. It sells organic and conventional extra virgin olive oil from its members, in bulk or packaged form, and table olives in brine or natural. The predominant varieties of olives pressed are Carolea, Dolce di Rossano, Roggianella, Nocellara, and Coratina. The oil obtained is well-balanced, with aromas of freshly cut grass, tomato, artichoke, and almond. The taste reveals just the right bitterness and spiciness.
