The Agricultural Cooperative, called O.P. Oliveti Terra di Bari, was founded as a Voluntary Association of Olive Growers in 1974. In 2006, it was converted into Oliveti Terra di Bari, obtaining recognition as a P.O. It has several thousand member olive growers and operates in the olive growing sector at the regional and national levels. Its main activity is undoubtedly the marketing of extra virgin olive oil with the Terra di Bari DOP and IGP designations, as well as Organic DOP and Organic IGP.
