Tukuma Piens was founded in 1913 and they are one of the biggest fresh dairy product producers in
Latvia and the Baltic States. The company is better know with the brand name – Baltais.
Each day about 300 tons of milk from Latvian farmers go to Tukuma Piens. The company specialises
in fresh product production and its range has about 250 items. The product groups consist of yogurt,
yogurt drinks, milk, kefir, butter, sour cream, curd and curd snacks, white cheese and cream cheese. Over the years Tukuma Piens has developed several sub-brands: Skyr, Cream, Greek yogurt, Balance and others.
