Born in 1953 in the heart of Bergamo's Old Town, La Marianna has been providing its clients with artisan handmade products.

It was 1961 when the founder Enrico Panattoni made a name for himself outside of Bergamo when, a night after Easter invented a new gelato recipe mixing a creamy milk base with hot dark chocolate, and Stracciatella was born.

Last year, it was time for Enrico's nephew Cosimo to be awarded by the Gambero Rosso magazine with the highest prize for his Panettone, selected as best in the city of Bergamo and among the ten best of Italy for Christmas 2024 edition.
