The Arborea Cooperative was founded in 1956 and is the most important company in Sardinia in the dairy sector. A large company with 224 producers who only supply cow's milk produced in Sardinia. The Cooperative manages and controls all the phases of the production chain, from the stable to the products produced in the three modern and technologically advanced plants, for an annual volume of 243 million litres of milk.
Arborea produces: Fresh and UHT milk (vaccine and goat's milk), vaccine cheeses, sheep's and goat's cheese, yogurt, Provole, Mozzarella, Butter, Ricotta, Mascarpone.
