The artisanal pasta factory Grania - Le Gemme del Vesuvio - was founded in 2004 by the Fornaro family, already active in the mechanical engineering sector. The pasta factory is based in Castello di Cisterna, in the province of Naples, the hometown of pasta. The factory has two production lines, one for long pastaand one for short pasta.We respect the ancient production process of good durum wheat semolina pasta: excellent semolina, slow kneading, bronze dies, slow drying at low temperatures in static fir wood cells, simulating drying in the sun and wind.
