The Consorzio protects and promotes the value of its important historical wine heritage, in a land that is of wine. Since always. It is the hilly part of the homonymous area located south of the Po and crosses the province of Pavia from West to East. On the hills of Oltrepò is produced 62% of the wine of Lombardy. Oltrepò is the first wine terroir in Lombardy with essentially three typicalities: Pinot Nero, Riesling and Croatina. The Denominazione Oltrepò is the third by extension in the framework of the Italian Denominations.
