APOCC Calabrialleva has continued the history of the production of Pecorino Crotonese DOP, an adorable cheese produced in the Crotone hills land, in Calabria. The softness and delicacy of this pecorino make it unique. A cheese with a long history. In ancient times it was offered as food to the royal troops garrisoned at the castle. It was also a gift much appreciated by the ecclesiastics and the aristocrats. The cheese offers a slight smell of sheep's milk with notes of hay and ripe wild herbs that play with hints of hazelnut and smoke.
