APOCC produces the Pecorino Crotonese (PDO), an adorable sheep milk cheese produced in the ancient land of Magna Graecia (Calabria), since the 16th century. Apocc - Calabrialleva, founded in 1984, is an Calabrian's breeders Cooperative. It is a small, but well organized Cooperative that produce the superb italian Pdo Cheese called "pecorino Crotonese", that is unique for it sweetness and it's flavour. In the last years it won gold, silver and bronze medal in the two principle cheese competiotion: The International cheese and Dairy Awards and the World Cheese Award
