On the hills of the Grecanic Pre-Sila overlooking the Ionian Sea, in Vaccarizzo Albanese, the Librandi siblings have preserved their century-old olive groves of Arbëreshë origin for five generations. The estate, organically farmed since 1997, spans 229 hectares, with 154 dedicated to 27,000 olive trees. Here, the “Olive Grove 4.0” is a reality, using precision sensors to monitor plant stress and optimize water use. Olives are harvested and processed within hours in the company mill, producing premium organic monocultivar and blended oils, along with refined citrus organic marmalades.
