Piemonte offers a food and wine culture based on artisanal tradition and high-quality products: chocolate, hazelnuts, the Piemontese Fassona beef, rice, PDO cheeses, a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and world-renowned wines, most of which come from the UNESCO-recognized Langhe-Roero Monferrato Wine Landscapes, such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Ghemme, Gattinara, still white wines such as Roero Arneis, Erbaluce, Gavi, excellent sparkling wines such as Alta Langa and Asti, the aromatic Moscato and Brachetto d’Acqui, as well as craft beers and Vermouth di Torino.
