In 1950, the Lamantea family bought the first hectares of land cultivated with olive trees in the Bisceglie countryside. The Lamantea company owns no less than four different types of olive groves, Coratina, Ogliarola, Nocellara and Leccio del Corno, from which a high quality extra virgin olive oil is obtained. In 2003, the LAMANTEA brand was born. With the new brand, the bottling line was also born, completing the production chain: harvesting, milling, packaging and distribution. Today, the Lamantea company can count on a large customer base, spread throughout Italy and abroad.
