The aim of MILKOTRONIC was to develop, produce and sell milk analyzing modules all based on the ultrasonic principle. It started to concentrate on the production of portable ultrasonic milk analyzers under the trade name LACTOSCAN. Due to the ultrasound technology: LACTOSCAN measures directly cold milk samples starting at 5°C; there is no need of periodical calibration
Although this milk analyser is a standalone device, it is controlled by own electronic design and software, and is safeguarding the first step in the milk collection system.
