Val d’Aveto Dairy is a producer of strained yogurt and traditional cheeses in the premium high end market segment. The production of typical cheeses from Liguria region started in 1991.Then the company specialized in producing yogurt following the ancient technique of yogurt straining. This “greek style yogurt“ is obtained starting from whole milk coming from local milk producers of Val d'Aveto and the nearby Val Trebbia, and it is processed with lactic ferments, without adding additives, thickeners, cream or sugars. The only sugars are those contained in fruit purées and creams.
