Valtaro has been selecting Parmigiano Reggiano since 1970. Starting from 1938 the founder, my grandfather Adelmo, was dealing Parmigiano cheese in the Italian colonies, then teached us the value of the knowledge of the complete production process. 197Valtaro Company was born in Parma, ageing and selling Parmigiano, developing gourmet shops market. 2000's: opening to foreign Ue and extra UE markets . 2011: new brand “cut and pack” facility, offering from 150 gr. Fixed weight wedges to whole wheels. 2014: new packaging introduction: long freshness keeper and 100% recyclable packaging.
