Vitis in Vulture was founded in 2007 by the passion for viticulture and enology of a group of friends with the construction of the transformation cellar in C.da Pozzo D'Alitta. To lead all this is the President of the Cooperative Dott. Giuseppe Avigliano, agronomist and agricultural entrepreneur with considerable experience in the oenological and agro-industrial sectors. Today with 250 hectares of vineyards, distributed in the municipalities of Lavello, Melfi, Venosa, Ripacandida, Barile and Maschito, Vitis in Vulture represents the 2nd Group in Basilicata in terms of production capacity.
