The ‘Nickel Free’ product certification was created to protect consumers suffering from nickel allergies. The aim is to ensure that agricultural and agri-food products contain less than 0.01 mg / kg of nickel. The certification is available to any company that produces fresh or processed food intended for consumption, or that produces ingredients for food products.
