The ‘Zero Antibiotics’ product certification is a guarantee for the consumer, in the purchase of products of animal origin, that no antibiotics were used when raising the animals.
The specification was created to put in place a much more restrictive approach than that required by law (which allows the use of antibiotics in compliance with defined rules), in order to certify products of animal origin as being derived from animals which have not been subjected to antibiotic treatments on the farm.
