The lemon IGP Siracusa grows between the sea and the hinterland of Syracuse, on a fertile coast within 210 meters above sea level, it is the most suitable area for growing lemons which stand out for their high juiciness and richness of oil glands in the peel. A strict IGP disciplinary guarantees the right balance and development of the plant, which must always be subject to correct aeration, with a maximum density of 400-500 plants per hectare. Thanks to the composition of the soil, it is very juicy, aromatic, rich in vitamin C, mineral salts and antioxidants. It is harvested strictly by hand.
