TRANSYLVANIA TROUT DORIPESCO

Hall 5 - Booth R01

The “Transylvanian trout” is a traditional recipe from Transylvanian cuisine, highly appreciated for its simplicity and the delicate flavor of mountain fish.

It consists of fresh trout, usually caught in the clear rivers of the Carpathians, which is cleaned and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and often herbs such as parsley and thyme. In some variations, lemon juice is added to enhance the freshness of the fish.

The trout is then grilled, baked in the oven, or pan-fried in butter, and sometimes served with vegetables or polenta. The result is a light, fragrant, and well-balanced dish .
