The Berries of Blue Grapes are small sized, dark purple, ovoid, seeded with thick skin. The juice is purple in colour, clear with a pleasant spacing generally varies with the varieties and soil fertility. Water is applied at different rates at different stages of vine growth and berry development. The crop is cultivated in Kolar and Bengaluru rural districts covering Hoskote, Doddaballapur, Nelamangala and Devanahalli taluks.
