In 1969 Cabinplant A/S was founded by Hans Clausen and Vagn Hansen. The company's original objective was to produce spray booths, hence the name Cabinplant. However, very soon contacts were established with the fish and vegetable industry, and by 1976 the company's activities were exclusively within the food industry.

Today, Cabinplant is one of the world leaders in the development of processing technology, especially in the areas of weighing/packaging and the handling of complex raw materials.
